Use a wooden spoon to stir in the olive oil and enough water to make a soft dough that is elastic but not sticky. Place the chapati flour in a large bowl and mix in the salt. Place the remaining flour and salt in a deep bowl. Fill another bowl with the cold water.

- Prepare chapathi or take left over chapathi.
- Cut chapati into pieces
- Heat kadai. Add oil, chopped green chilli.
- Add chopped ginger and garlic
- Saute it. Now add onion.
- After onion gets cooked, add tomato.
- Now add salt, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and cumin powder. If we want more red colour add red chilli paste instead of chilli powder.
- Add water immediately.
- Add chapathi pieces. Mix it well to get coated with masala.
- Chilli chapathi is ready to serve. Garnish with coriander leaves.
