The ingredients needed to make Yellow tuna curry:

  2. Make ready 1 red pepper
  3. Make ready 1 tsp curry powder
  4. Make ready 1/2 tsp paprika
  5. Take 200 ml cream
  6. Get 100 ml creme fraiche
  7. Make ready 1/2 chicken stock cube
  8. Make ready 1 pinch black pepper
  9. Prepare 1 tin tuna

Over low to moderate heat, saute onion, garlic, and your vegetable of choice in butter. (If you use tuna packed in oil, you can drain the oil and use that to saute the onions.) Season with salt and curry powder and continue to saute until veggies are tender. Peel and roughly chop the garlic and ginger, and roughly chop the pandan. Place the softened goraka (or tamarind paste), garlic, ginger and pandan in a pestle and mortar, along with the cinnamon, black pepper, curry leaves and a good pinch of salt. Grind the grated coconut along with remaining turmeric powder, red chilly powder, coriander powder, fenugreek seeds,ginger piece, garlic, shallots/pearl onions and tamarind to a fine paste adding enough water.

  1. Chop and fry the onions and peppers until they're soft. Sprinkle the curry powder over it and fry for another minute.
  2. Add everything but tuna to the onions and let simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Gently put the tuna in there, careful not to break it up too much.
  3. Serve with rice or pasta.
