Instructions to make Alsi Podi/ Coconut Flax Seeds Chutney:
  1. Heat a non stick pan and dry roast flax seeds and sesame seeds for 2 minutes on a low flame and transfer into a mixer jar.
  2. Dry roast peanuts and chane separately and transfer them to the mixer jar.
  3. Dry roast coconut powder for just 30 seconds and transfer into the mixer jar.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and add dried red chillies and sauté till crisp.
  5. In the same pan add onion and garlic and sauté till golden brown
  6. Allow it to cool, when cooled add this to the mixer jar
  7. Add rock salt and grind to a fine powdered chutney.
  8. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve with south Indian dishes or any other dishes.
  9. My tip - All ingredients are dry roasted and this can be stored for a month
