Steps to make Masala nduma/ arrowroots:
  1. Peel the arrowroots, wash, cut into desired pieces and boil to softed.
  2. After boiling, drain all the watet and set it aside. Meanwhile heat up cooking for deep frying the ndumas
  3. Deep fry the ndumas till they become crispy. Drain the oil and set aside
  4. In a saucepan, fry the onions and tomatoes. Add in the tomato paste and all the spices and soysauce and stir to mix well
  5. Add in the 3 tablespoons of water to form a paste
  6. Add in the dhania, stir well. Let it cook for 1 min. Serve and enjoy
  7. Add in the deep fried ndumas slowly as you make sure they are coated in the paste
