- Take 12 a fig nose soak in lukewarm milk for 2 hours
- Get 8 dates soak in luckwarm milk for 2 hours
- Prepare 20 cashew nut soak in milk 1 hours
- Get 1 tbsp condensed milk
- Get 20 raisins
- Make ready 1 tbsp finely chopped mix dry fruit (almond, pistachio)
- Get 2 tsp pure ghee
- Take 1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
- Get 400 grams milk
This Anjeer ki barfi is an excellent sweet as it is healthy, sugarfree and easy to make. You can add dates in it but that's optional you can add or skip Dry fruits are chopped or crushed into medium size pieces but don't crush them into small tiny pieces. The figs and dates are chopped into small pieces. Anjeer or Figs are known as the fruit of heaven.
Steps to make Anjeer (fig) ki firani:
- Firstly in a small jar add soaked cashew nuts blend it without milk or water now remove in a bowl.
- Again in a jar add soaked dates, fig 2tbsp milk blend it make a fine puree.
- Heat the wok with ghee add cashew nut paste saute till it becomes crumbly texture and get nice aroma add fig paste.
- Now mix it properly on lower flame when moisture soaks up keep stirring.
- Now add milk, green cardamom powder, mix it well give a good boil add condensed milk, raisins stir occasionally cook for 5 mins on lower flame now turn off the flame.
- Now remove it serving bowl and garnish with some chopped mix dry fruits.
The figs and dates are chopped into small pieces. Anjeer or Figs are known as the fruit of heaven. It is a natural source of protein, phosphorus, glucose and calcium. Fig is also used for beauty purpose when blended with milk. It helps remove blemishes and spots.
