- Cut the tofu in 1-inch pieces. Dust the tofu cubes with 1/2 tbsp cornflour.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry the tofu till lightly brown on the outside. Drain on absorbent paper
- To prepare chilli sauce, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add sliced onion and cook for 2-3 add ginger, garlic and green chillies and mix well and sauté for 20-30 seconds.
- Add some water and mix well. Add chilli sauce, soy sauce and crushed red chillies and mix well.
- Dissolve remaining cornstarch in some water to make a smooth slurry and add this to the pan. Mix well.
- Add Chop mint leaves and add chopped coriander and mix well.Add salt, pepper powder, mix well and sauté for 30 seconds
- Now add vinegar and mix well. Add the tofu and mix well for few seconds. Switch off heat.
- Transfer on a serving plate. serve immediately.
