- Make ready 4 potatoes
- Take 1 Capsicum
- Make ready 1 Onion
- Get 2 tbsp Butter
- Get As per taste Ketchup
- Take As per taste Chilli flakes
- Take 1 tsp oregano
- Take 3 tbsp Maida
- Make ready 2 tbsp Cornflour
- Prepare Few drops Food colour
- Get 1 tsp Soya sauce
- Prepare 1 tsp Vinegar
This removes any extra starch in the potatoes. Mix together corn flour, all purpose flour, chilli powder, chilli paste and salt. Coat the potato fingers evenly with this flour mix. Mix the oil, garlic, cayenne pepper, chilli powder and mixed herbs in a large bowl.
Instructions to make Chilli potatoes:
- Take the potatoes and cut them in fries shape and take one bowl and add 2 spoons maida and one spoon cornflour, spices, chat masala, food colour and water and mix them to make a thick paste.
- Put the potatoes in the mixture and then fries them in Kadai. Now take a pan for tadka and add oil and then capsicum, when capsicum cooked properly add onions, then add the spices, soya sauce, ketchup, vinegar and mix them. Then after some seconds add the fried potatoes and mix them also.
- In last add some chilli flakes and seasoning an then put it in serving palte and in last add some butter. Sprinkle some oregano.
Coat the potato fingers evenly with this flour mix. Mix the oil, garlic, cayenne pepper, chilli powder and mixed herbs in a large bowl. Cut each potato in half then quarters on the diagonal. Toss the potatoes through the chilli mix until coated. Peel the potatoes, quarter lengthways and place in a large saucepan of salted cold water.
