  1. Pre-heat an oven to 220°C / 200°C fan.
  2. In a heavy based pan, add the butter, sugar, water & vanilla extract. Gently heat together till fully melted and combined.
  3. Take off the heat and add the oats. Mix well and then pour out into a baking tray. Place in the oven for 15-20mins.
  4. Remove from the oven and all low to completely cool.
  5. Once cooled, cut into slices. Begin to melt either the dark or white chocolate. Cover one side of the flap jack with the chocolate.
  6. Allow the chocolate to set then repeat previous step.
  7. Once set, place in the fridge to store.
