- Allow it to cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with Ugali or Rice.
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the bell peppers, tilapia, and diced tomatoes to the pot in succeeding layers. I just plain forgot the Fish Sauce when I was cooking, but the smoked oysters were such a strong flavor, I think it was a good thing. The fish has to be fried then simmered and you don't want it to break up. If in dire need kingfish would also be a good option.
