- Dust your work top with flour,put your dough there,continue kneading until it becomes soft but not sticky.If still abit sticky,you can apply oil on your hand n continue kneading.
- Once soft,apply little oil in your bowl,place your dough in,cover it n allow it to rest for 30mins to 1hour.
- After 1 hour,roll them into balls.
- Start rolling them one by one as you apply little oil on top.Repeat the process until you are done with all balls.
- Cover them for about 10 to 15mins but not necessary
- Place your pan on heat n allow it to become hot.Roll your coiled dough,make a round shape n start frying them both sides until it turn golden brown.
- Repeat the process for all balls.Enjoy with any stew of your choice or hot tea.
I have added saffron to add nice fragrance in the peda. Don't be too stingy with the water or cut back on the oil. If your chapati are still too dry, try rolling them out thicker. While I say its absolutely ok to eat chapati with milk, some precautions need to be taken. Proteins are well digested in the presence of fats.
