The ingredients needed to make Cherry liqueur:
  1. Take 1 kg cherries
  2. Get 700 ml pure alchohol, or raki, or brandy
  3. Get 1 kg sugar
  4. Prepare 1/2 l water
  5. Make ready 1 cinnamon stick
  6. Take 2-3 cloves

Wash the cherries and puncture each with a toothpick. Put the pitted cherries at the bottom of a sealable glass jar and muddle them with a wooden spoon or muddler to release some juice. Drain the juice into a separate container and set aside. Then add the brandy, vodka, and cinnamon stick to the muddled cherries.

Steps to make Cherry liqueur:
  1. Pit the cherries.
  2. Place the fruit in a jar together with the pure alcohol and a little of the sugar (about 5-6 tbsp). Place the jar in the sun for 3-4 weeks and on the first week shake it so that the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. When the time has passed, separate the drink and make a syrup with the rest of the sugar and the water with the spices. After it has boiled for 3 minutes, strain it and let it cool before you add it to the drink.
  4. Mix all the ingredients together and set them aside for 1-2 weeks so that the tastes combine.
