The ingredients needed to make Kasuri Methi Chole:
  1. Take 400 gm Chickpeas (soaked for 4 hours)
  2. Prepare 1 tbsp Grated ginger
  3. Get 2 Onions chopped
  4. Get 2 tomatoes chopped
  5. Get 1 tbsp salt
  6. Take 3 tsp Ciba taaza spices Kasuri methi
  7. Take 1 tsp Ciba taaza Garam masala
  8. Take 1 tbsp Ciba taaza Kashmiri red chilli powder
  9. Take 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  10. Get 1 tbsp Chana masala/Chole masala
  11. Get 2 tbsp oil
Instructions to make Kasuri Methi Chole:
  1. In a pan, heat oil and add grated ginger at first followed by the chopped onions.
  2. Saute them until translucent. Now add rest of the spices along with the tomatoes.
  3. Cover and cook on a low heat until done.
  4. Meanwhile pressure cook chickpeas for 4-5 whistles. See to it that they do not become too soft or mushy.
  5. Open the lid after the pressure settles down. Add them to the pan and mix well.
  6. Cover and cook for 2 minutes before adding kasuri methi which is the star ingredient here.
  7. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes in order to blend the flavour of kasoori methi really well with the chole. Squeeze a small lemon just before serving along with some raw chopped onions.
  8. Enjoy this super delicious chole with family and friends.
