  1. Boil onion, strain water and set the onion to cool. Boil fresh green peas with little salt and water just to cover the peas till soft. Strain water and set aside. Soak cashewnuts and charmagaz in hot water for 10 minutes. Make a paste of onion, green chillies,1 tbsp malai, cashewnuts,charmagaz and chopped tomato with milk.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a nonstick pan and sprinkle cumin seeds. When it crackles, add hing. Add the pureed paste, kitchen king masala, roasted fennel powder, salt to taste, ginger garlic paste and toss. Add the peas, crushed kasoori methi and toss all. Add 1/4 th cup boiled peas to water and boil till the gravy is thick. Add 1 tbsp thick cream or malai and 1 tbsp ghee. Sprinkle chopped coriander and garam masala and toss. Serve hot with methi lachha paratha or any Indian flatbread.
